At Kheffache Studios we believe family portraits should feel effortless. Our Dún Laoghaire studio is a calm, light-filled space designed to take the stress out of being photographed — somewhere your children can relax, be themselves, and where the day feels enjoyable rather than orchestrated.
We work with busy Dublin families who want something more than a quick set of pictures. Every session is shaped around you, creating contemporary portraits that capture not only how your family looks right now but the connection, humour and personality that make you who you are.
We only take on a small number of family sessions each month so every booking gets our full attention.

A Studio Made for Families
Our studio in Dún Laoghaire is designed to feel like home. Soft natural light, quiet spaces, and plenty of time mean your children set the pace — not the clock.
After your session, you'll be invited into our private Design Consultation Room, a cosy, high-end cinema space where you can see your photographs come to life on the big screen. This is where we help you choose your favourites and decide how you'd like to display them — from handcrafted albums to fine-art wall pieces designed for your home.
Families travel to us from all over ireland. Many parents also include their pets in family sessions, and we offer stand-alone 🔗 Pet Photography in Dublin for portraits that focus entirely on them.

What is a family session like at your Dublin studio?
Our sessions are designed to feel calm and stress-free. The studio is a relaxed, light-filled space where your children can just be themselves while we capture your family naturally. Every session is tailored to you, so it feels effortless from start to finish.
How long does a family session take?
Most sessions last around 1.5 to 2 hours. That gives us plenty of time for breaks, a few different setups, and a pace that feels comfortable for everyone — including the youngest members of the family.
What should we wear?
Simple, comfortable outfits work best. Soft neutral tones photograph beautifully against our clean studio setup, and avoiding heavy patterns or logos keeps the focus on your faces and the connection between you. What if my child won't sit still or doesn't want to be photographed?
That's completely normal — and honestly, those bursts of personality are often where the best photographs come from. Our sessions are fast-paced and full of laughter. Can grandparents and extended family be included?
Absolutely. Multi-generational portraits are some of the most meaningful work we do. We'll adjust the setup and flow so everyone — from grandparents to the smallest cousins — feels comfortable and included.
Can pets be included?
Yes — 🔗 pets are part of the family, and they're welcome in family sessions. Their quirks and personalities often make for the most memorable photographs.
