At our Dublin-based family photography studio, we go beyond the traditional portrait, creating timeless, award-winning images that reflect the heart and soul of your baby. We believe that photos should tell a story. a beautiful narrative of connection, love, and cherished moments.

The first days with your newborn are magical and fleeting. At Kheffache Studios we create a calm space where you can relax, soak it in, and simply enjoy being with your baby. Our approach is baby-led — no rush, no forced poses, just natural moments as they unfold.

We only take on a small number of newborn sessions each month to keep the experience calm, unhurried, and personal.

A Studio Made for Families

Our studio in Dún Laoghaire is designed to feel like home. Soft light, quiet spaces, and plenty of time mean your baby sets the pace.

After your session, you’ll be invited into our private Design Consultation Room, a cosy, high-end cinema space where you can see your photographs come to life on the big screen. This is where we help you choose your favourites and decide how you’d like to display them — from handcrafted albums to wall art designed for your home.

Families visit us from Dalkey, Monkstown, Blackrock, and all across South Dublin.

Many parents love to include their pets in newborn sessions — and we also offer stand-alone Pet Photography in Dublin if you’d like portraits that focus entirely on them.

FAQs

What age is best for newborn photos?

The first two weeks (around 5–14 days old) are ideal as babies are still very sleepy and curl up naturally. But don’t worry if you’ve missed that window, we can create beautiful, natural images at any age.

What should my baby wear?

Simple is best. A plain vest, soft romper, or just a nappy works beautifully. We’ll guide you on what photographs well and keeps the focus on your baby.

How long does a newborn session take?

Sessions usually run around 2 hours. That gives us time for breaks, feeding, and a relaxed pace so you and your baby never feel rushed.

What if my baby doesn’t settle or cries?

That’s completely normal. Our baby-led approach means we work at your baby’s pace, taking breaks when needed and capturing natural moments as they unfold.

Can parents and siblings be included?

Yes, for sure. we encourage it. Including parents and older brothers or sisters makes your gallery even more meaningful.

Do you provide props or keep it natural?

We keep things timeless and simple. If you have a special blanket, toy or keepsake you’d like included, bring it along — otherwise we focus on connection and emotion.
